Mr. Robert really help my husband out on his case he fought for all fairness my husband had a rocky road with the mother of his child and kept losing time with his child but Mr. Robert came into his life and made sure he fought hard for what he wanted. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend him and his team he’s highly professional and fights righteous for what you want we can’t thank him enough for what he did for our family. We hired The Roberts Law firm for child custody case. We started the process of going for temporary custody as both my sons mom and I were moving from where my son was born. Attorney Roberts is respectful, professional, and kind! I had the opportunity to virtually meet him over zoom, and it was a wonderful experience. I had never personally met Mr. Roberts, but I knew of his successful law firm in Orlando. As a college student majoring in legal studies, I was tasked with interviewing an attorney (I didn’t know) for my class assignment. If you want your expectations lowered go meet with many of the other lawyers out there but if you want to formulate a plan to fight for what you believe in and WIN, then hire David Roberts. After deciding to fire my first lawyer, I met with many others before hiring David Roberts. My case was a divorce after 11 years of marriage and 2 kids. As an active Father, my goal was to keep my kids 80% of the time and pay no alimony based on the fact that my wife had her own career, retirement plan and health insurance. I kept being told by all the other lawyers I met with that I needed to lower my expectations. They kept telling me there was no way I would get more than 50% with my kids and I would have to pay alimony because I made almost 3 times as much as my wife. When I met with Mr. Roberts he told me that it would be very hard to get what I wanted and that we would need to formulate a plan to try and make it work. Mr Roberts put together a case plan we followed it and we won! When the case was over I got my kids 80% and I paid no alimony. We also settled in mediation without an expensive and lengthy trial. Doreen Valentin, Mr Roberts’s legal aid was absolutely the best! She made sure I got through all the paperwork and kept all the pleadings and filings organized in a cloud file for easy review. The billing was fair and accurate and when the case was over I even received small refund on the remainder of the retainer.

A previous attorney failed miserably and everyone said my case was near impossible to win -- especially against a very powerful opposing counsel from a large prestigious firm. Something I've learned through the process of dealing with family court system is that there is a tremendous amount of information, policies and procedures that most people are unaware of. It can be very intimidating and most will find themselves on a stranded island of ignorance if they attempt to go at it themselves. I've found that it takes professional experience in dealing with the courts and with the Roberts Family Law Firm they have been exemplary at that.

One of the best ways to get rid of the "fear of the unknown" is through information and education. My experience with Mr. Roberts, Mrs. Gallant and Mr. Sempier has been outstanding when it comes to being informed and educated. The Roberts Family Law Firm takes full advantage of technology to keep me informed and up to date along with good old fashion phone calls and appointments. I never felt out of the loop nor was anything ever sugar coated just for the sake of telling me what I thought I wanted to hear.

The Roberts Family Law Firm does what they do very well because they use a team approach. I know I am not the only client, or as they would put it - a member of the Roberts Family Law family, but the entire firm gives me their undivided attention on all fronts in a balanced way. Every member of the firm has their own talents and strengths. They get together during independent conference sessions to determine the best approach for every step of the court proceedings. I've been surprised at the level of preparedness Mr. Roberts, Mrs. Gallant and Mr. Sempier works with and it shows in and out of the courtroom.

Roberts and his team have been patient and courteous with me the entire way making sure that everything was in proper order.

From being greeted with kindness and respect by Elis at the front desk, to my interactions and preparations with Mrs. Gallant along with my representation by Mr. Roberts and Mr. Sempier - it has gone above and beyond what I could have hoped for. The Roberts Family Law Firm has been the answer to making sure that things were fair and balanced.

The journey is not over quite yet. Most people would do a write up after everything is over.

I researched many lawyers and sat down and talked with many lawyers, but after speaking with Mr. Roberts, I knew he was the lawyer I needed. Thank goodness I went with my instincts and hired him. He got me everything i asked for. I came into this situation with very bad odds that i would get 50/50 with my son. He was able to get me 50/50. I also didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for child support, and he was able to make that happen as well. Lauren Gallant was the best paralegal I have ever had the chance to work with. I am a professional, well educated, successful father of a wonderful son who found himself in a family law dispute. For certain, one of the best decisions I made in my life was to retain, David Roberts as my family law attorney. Allow me to illustrate the background of my case. My family law case prior to retaining David Roberts was out of control with no direction, guidance or strategy to create a solution that was best for me or my family. My son was being used as leverage to extort money from me using false allegations because I requested, per my rights: to have more quality time to parent him. Initially, I was angry, confused and didn’t trust anyone to assist me based on the history of family law as I understood it. As fate would have it, I had a consultation with David Roberts based on a recommendation by a person on his staff named Lauren Gallant. She said, “if you don’t retain David Roberts, at the very least you should consult with him because he is highly intelligent.” I must add, I already had an attorney before this consultation. After that consultation, I retained David Roberts and released my previous attorney. After retaining David Roberts as my family law attorney, my case had direction, guidance, and a plan of action that ensured latitude, flexibility and firm aggressiveness in protecting my rights. I did my work and supplied Mr. Roberts and his staff with facts substantiated by more facts to support our objectives. We had a tough job to do and as an “attorney/client team”, we had to work together. Alright. Here it goes. Never in my life I ever thought I would be married with three boys and not be able to pay my mortgage. I was involved in a business partnership that went south. Money got real tight and my business relationship with my partner started to sour. Luckily I was able to split from my partner and take my side of the business but I was still knee deep in shit with missed payments on my mortgage. I didnt want to confide in my wife because she was pregnant with my third son. It was torture carrying that burden. It was a really dark time. I finally came clean to her and started applying for home loan modifications through bank of america. I tried three times with no luck. It was depressing and beyond stressfull. All I could think about was losing my home. I reached out to this law firm and let them know my situation and he went over a few roads we could take. We went for a loan modification. It took a lot of time and a lot of documentation of my wife and I's financials over and over and over but it was well worth it. At the end of this journey it was well worth it.!!!! Loan modification was approved and was able to get back on my feet and sleep for more than 4 hours at a time. I cannot put into words how grateful for Mr. Roberts, Doreen, and whoever else I left out. All these folks have a special place in my heart and always will. I chose Attorney David Roberts after interviewing MANY attorneys in the Orlando area. I knew my case was going to go to trial and I wanted the most aggressive trial attorney I could find. My case was quite complex. I've been living overseas for over 5 years with no chance to travel back to Florida. For 4 years I was looking to divorce my NOW EX-WIFE. I searched for legal representation in the States and overseas to get divorced with absolutely no success. Some Lawyers told me it was impossible to divorce if I didn't appear personally in court, some others quoted me up to $10,000 to flight to my location and start an international process that could take up to 2 years (and of course more charges down the road). After calling more than 20 Attorneys in Central Florida and believe me is a long, tiring and disappointing process; plus the phone bill builds up quickly, I was in contact with Mr. David T. Roberts’ office. He was kind enough to answer to my request personally over the phone and within seconds he explained me step by step and in detail how the case should be handled. I trusted him immediately, he was secure, knowledgeable and I truly believe he “felt” my case.
